In 1600 the famous painting depicting the Madonna with Child (“Madonna dell’Arco”), was secured and placed inside a small marble temple designed by Bartolomeo Picchiati.
Today those colorful geometries that frame the painting, have been used as inspiration for the realization of this liturgical set.

All the stolons and various decorations that embellish the vestments, were made by cutting the various fabrics with a laser, and then fixing them using embroidery technique.
The inspiration for this project comes from the colorful geometries that frame the painting of “Madonna with Child” better known as “𝑀𝑎𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑎 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑙’𝐴𝑟𝑐𝑜”.
The geometries of the marble have been studied to recreate the original decorations in the best way possibile and to adapt it to the entire set of vestments.
All the elements have been cut with a laser machine and then embroidered. Tailoring entirely by hand
