Intervention of conservationist restoration of a corporal bag from half of the nineteenth century, in beige marbled fabric and gold metallic yarn embroidery.

There are lacerations in the underlying tissue along the entire perimeter. The metallic embroidery has some threads raised in the perimeter and some loose sheets in the central embroidery.

Disassembling

Disassembly of the work and removal of the lining

Suction

Aspiration and removal of the particle deposit on the front and back of all fabrics by means of a suction with microaspirator at controlled speed and protective filter nets

Consolidation

Fixing of metallic threads along the perimeter and in the most degraded areas, and application of micro protective net
