In this chasuble by Francesca Dondoglio, the chromatic layerings and transitions typical of her expressive language generate an unusual spatial depth. Her research, in fact, interprets and articulates the dialectic between the visible and the invisible. Her art, only apparently abstract, in reality proves intimately concrete, because it is inscribed within the existential coordinates of human experience – an experience that does not shrink before the abyssal verticality of the soul, but rather yearns for it, calls forth its emergence, illuminates it while easing its unsettling threat and thus redeems it, transforming it into light, into promise, into the announcement of an advent.
