Chasuble in cream silk-blend fabric.
The orphrey is made taking inspiration from the inlays inside the wooden choir behind the altar of the Lower Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.
The project made for the Lower Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi stems from the careful observation of the wooden choir, an architectural element that guided the entire compositional development.
The geometry, the rhythm of the inlays and the material depth of the wood were translated into a measured textile design, able to fit discreetly within the context of the Basilica, respecting its visual and luminous density.
