The Fondazione Scuola Beato Angelico presents a liturgical chasuble that unites tradition and expressive innovation: a diversity of colours, almost a warp of different lands, cultures and origins, united in the one Body of Christ \u2013 the risen Crucified One who continually draws all to himself and who, in the one \u201cnet\u201d of the Church, gathers countless \u201cfish\u201d of every kind and size (Jn 21:5-11) without tearing, held together by the saving gold of Redemption. The chasuble, painted on fabric, is embroidered with gold thread, evoking net meshes and the spindle-shaped outlines of fish, holding together the colour scheme that progressively transfigures the earthen brushstrokes into glorious light.
